Bringing your Dog to stay

Dogs more than Welcome

We would love for you to bring your dog to stay, we don't just tolerate them we make them feel very welcome. All we ask is that they are up to date with their flea control,  are not left on their own or allowed on the furniture.

Please note that whilst the garden in The Little House is enclosed, the garden at UP^ is not fully escape proof!

UP^ Willow Agility Garden

For those staying at UP^, the garden is enclosed (but not escape proof)  and has a willow agility trail for your dog to explore and prepare for crufts! There is a willow tunnel, a hoop and weave poles but please don't leave your dog unattended as a determined dog might escape as there are so many amazing smells in the nearby fields, please don't underestimate your dog!

Local Walks

Loads of walks straight from the door and a big field opposite to let off steam in.  Just be aware there are sheep around so please ask where you may need to keep your dog on a lead.

Most of the local pubs accept dogs, and there are recommendations in the information pack.

The Little Extras

We leave a bowl, a blanket, ball flinger, temporary address tag, poo bags even a first aid kit and Chill Pad. For the more particular eater there is a raised eating platform in the kitchen so taller dogs don't have to bend down so far.  And yes, those staying at UP^ are free to use the bath if they want and we provide shampoo - candles optional!

Small Charge

We charge £15 for your dog to stay however for every stay £5 of that is donated to a dog charity which changes every few months. Currently we donate to Action Aid for Animals as this is who rescued the lovely Juno (pictured) now a regular visitor

Local Services

If the unthinkable happens and you need a vet we recommend
