New for 2022 we have linked up with The Moody Cow Camper Hire company to offer a unique way to explore the beautiful Wye Valley at your own leisurely pace. Hop aboard the 1972 VW Camper, pootle along the country lanes and see where each day takes you. We even share our 70's play list to get you into the retro vibe!

Ermintrude
Our wonderful 1972 VW camper 'Ermintrude' is a romantic way to explore the Wye Valley. Lovingly restored she has a fully reconditioned 1600 engine which allows you to reach the crazy speeds of 55mph! Stop at one of the amazing view points, put on the kettle and enjoy a cuppa while taking in the scenery. Insurance (for those over 25 and with 2 years driving experience and less than 6 points on their licence) is included along with RAC cover for peace of mind. We provide many suggestions for places to visit and stay but of course you are free to make your own itinerary (maximum 50 miles per day)
The minimum hire is either a 3 day weekend or a 4 day mid-week break. We offer either the Freedom Camper Package where you set your own itinerary and stay at any local campsite of your choice. For those wanting a but more luxury we offer the Campsite Based Camper – Based at one of our participating campsites. A bell tent awning already erected before your arrival. Enjoy daytrips in Ermintrude and return to base each night. You are welcome to bring your 4 legged friend on your adventure (small charge applied maximum 2 dogs) Prices start at £450 for the Freedom Camper and £600 for the Campsite Based Camper
